Robert/Bob Allen is a charismatic and brilliant schemer who has meticulously constructed two lives in two different parts of Texas. As "Bob," he lives in Houston and is married to Cat, the beautiful daughter of Clint, the patriarch of an ultra-wealthy Texas oil family. More than 400 miles away in the suburban west Texas town of Midland, he’s "Robert," living a second life with his sweet, naïve girlfriend, Lindsay. There he plays the perfect boyfriend while secretly bilking local investors of their savings. While in Houston, he’s a devoted husband, charming Cat and her family to cement his position in the rich family business he aims to clean out. Now caught between a father-in-law who wants to hand him the company business and a father who wants him to take it all, Bob has to weigh the risks and make a choice.

This Texas established episode has the feel of a cable tv series and the pacing of a movie, which makes it an engaging, character-driven story that will make you sympathize with the major character. There is no step-by-step element to this collection. It’s a primetime soap opera with a very interesting andproficient ensemble cast that will surely leave you wanting more. The series focuses on the dynamics of the characters and the situations they are in. There are many dynamics introduced in the premiere episode and Robert/Bob is going to have to con his way through them all as the series moves along. The premise of the show is enticing, but to be able to sustain a story through a broadcast network schedule is going to be fascinating to observe unfold.

Living two lifestyles, in two various cities, with two different women is an intriguing premise in itself. Add the con man elements with the oil business and you have a stellar show that will be fun to watch moving forward. Robert/Bob not only has two beautiful women, but he also has two fathers so to speak—his biological father, John and his father-in-law, Clint. All of these dynamics in one episode make for an fascinating voyage and the characters themselves are intriguing enough for me to go along for the ride.
